Jarmel Kizel Positioned For Growth, With 6 New Staff Members

Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, Inc., a full-service architecture and engineering firm based in Livingston, NJ, continues to expand with the hiring of architects, engineers, and a marketing and business development leader.

Austin Schneider joins Jarmel Kizel as Director of Marketing and Business Development. He brings 14 years of experience in various Marketing leadership roles at Mohawk Industries and Aflac, working with and consulting C-level clients. He has goals of increasing the Jarmel Kizel brand recognition and overall sales.

The architectural studio's new hires include Raxita Desai, Anthony Lauro, and Daniel Allocca. Raxita has been a practicing architect for 27 years. She's a creative designer with experience in Residential, Commercial and Institutional fields and has collaborated on projects in the US, India and Canada. Raxita is rejoining the firm after working for a NYC firm for several years, prior she was employed by Jarmel Kizel for 5 years. Joining Raxita is experienced architect Anthony Lauro. Anthony is a graduate of NJIT and brings 14 years of professional experience to the firm. Previously, as a Project Manger he had been involved in many commercial and educational projects throughout his career. Also new to the architectural studio is intern architect Daniel Allocca, a recent graduate of NJIT. Prior to his graduation in 2013 Daniel had worked as a student intern and had been involved with projects in Newark and at the World Trade Center

Not to be outdone, the engineering department grows by two with the hiring of Shannon Crownover, EIT and Richard Scherm, EIT. Shannon joins Jarmel Kizel after spending 6 years with a prominent NJ structural engineering firm. She earned a BS in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with honors. She received her Master's from Rutgers in Civil Engineering as well. The firm also added to their mechanical engineers with the hire of Richard Scherm. Richard is a recent graduate of Rutgers and excited to join the firm. Both Shannon and Richard are intern engineers that have passed their EIT exams.
