Jarmel Kizel Designs Interior Fit-Out for Kiddie Academy in Charlottesville, Va.

LIVINGSTON, N.J. (January 5, 2012)—Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc., a full-service architecture and engineering firm based in Livingston, New Jersey, is providing architectural and engineering design services for the new construction of a 12,500-square-foot building that will be leased and utilized by Kiddie Academy, a leading family childcare provider, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Owned by ECORP Real Estate, the building is located at the Rivanna Plaza retail development at 2000 Seminole Trail in Charlottesville. The retail center encompasses three buildings totaling 32,000 square feet. The Kiddie Academy will join Dunkin’ Donuts and an Italian restaurant as tenants.

“We are pleased to see this project come to fruition,” said Matthew B. Jarmel, AIA, MBA and principal of Jarmel Kizel. “Our firm prepared drawings for this building a few years ago when it was being fit-up for another tenant, and now our drawings will be modified to meet Kiddie Academy’s prototype. This is a much needed service in the area, and we will be glad to see the facility up-and-running.”

For this project, Jarmel Kizel is providing a full range of architectural and engineering services for the building’s core and shell, as well as tenant improvements for the Kiddie Academy.
