Jarmel Kizel Helps Design Winning Solix Project

LIVINGSTON, N.J. (May 11, 2010)—Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc., one of New Jersey’s most recognized architecture and engineering firms based in Livingston, was recognized with the United Way Commercial Real Estate Impact Award. The Jarmel Kizel team was recognized for architectural and engineering services provided for the redevelopment of Solix’s 60,000-square-foot office headquarters at 30 Lanidex in Parsippany. The project included new mechanical systems, new lobby and common areas, a new parking field, and building handicap access. Jarmel Kizel was responsible for designs for the lobby and common areas within the building.

United Way of Morris County’s annual Commercial Real Estate Impact Award recognizes a property, sale, lease, or other real estate transaction that has had the most positive impact in Morris County during the past year.

More than 330 commercial real estate professionals and related industry representatives attended the United Way Legacy Luncheon event, which raises funds to help local non-profit agencies complete critical capital improvement projects. Since its inception in 1999, the Legacy Luncheon has raised more than $1.45 million to fund and complete 96 critical capital projects at child care centers, shelters, housing for those with mental illnesses, agencies providing health services for low-income residents, and more.
