Jarmel Kizel Selected To Design Renovation For Dental Health Associates In Irvington, New Jersey

IRVINGTON, N.J. (OCTOBER 9, 2007) — Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, Inc. has been appointed by Dental Health Associates to design a complete interior and exterior renovation of its building at 2 Washington Avenue in Irvington. Matthew B. Jarmel, AIA, MBA, principal, is serving as project principal for this assignment.

Jarmel Kizel will provide full architecture, and interior and exterior design and engineering services for Dental Health Associates’ 10,000-square-foot facility. The project will include an overhaul of the exterior façade and a new roof, as well as upgrades to the building mechanical systems, and a complete demolition and reconstruction of the space. The renovated plan calls for the design of a four (4) chair orthodontics program along with 12 treatment areas, two (2) surgical rooms, eight (8) pediatric rooms, a business office, X-ray area and other functions required to support the facility. Unique aspects of the project will include the design of a medical gas distribution system. This is Jarmel Kizel’s second project for Dental Health Associates. The firm previously designed a facility in Plainfield, New Jersey.
